Introduction
SI/SSIs subject to the affirmative procedure will be initially laid in the form of a Draft SI/SSIs. Once they have received approval through Parliamentary procedures they will need converting to Made. The system will allow users to easily convert a Draft to Made, automatically making all necessary updates to the underlying XML.
How to convert an SI/SSI to Made
Select Duplicate version from the drop-down menu on the tile of the document version you want to convert to Made
The system will ask you to specify a version description
When you have provided a version description, select the ‘Convert to Made’ checkbox
Click on Create
The system will create a duplicate version of the document, converting it into a Made document and display it on the ‘Project’ tab, under the new stage heading of “Made” (unless you specified a different stage name during this duplication process).

It is not possible to use ‘Convert to Made’ if the document version is already ‘Made’ It will suggest a stage heading of ‘Made’ when you convert a draft SI/SSI to Made, but you can override this in the ‘Duplicate version’ modal if you want to put the duplicate document in a different stage grouping. |
