Introduction
You can flag an amendment on the 'Amendments' Amendment Manager tab which will highlight it in the list (visible only to users in the same organisation as you), but also prevent other users in the same organisation as you from submitting it, or publishing it (if you are a Parliament user)of amendments.
While a draft amendment is flagged, it can’t be submitted. While a tabled amendment is flagged, you can’t publish a list of amendments containing it.
Flags are only visible within the organisation of the user who set the flag so different organisations can set different flags.
How to flag amendments

Click on a flag icon on the left-hand side of an amendment to

flag it.
The selected amendment will be highlighted yellow in the list when the flag is on Info
Hints and tips
Flags are only visible to other users in the same organisation as you
Flags will prevent other users in the same organisation as you from submitting an amendment if it is draft
Flags can be applied to any amendment, regardless of their status
If you are a Parliament user, flags will also prevent you or others in the same organisation as you from publishing a list that the amendment appears on
To release the 'lock' on the amendment, . To remove the flag, simply click on the flag icon to remove the flag from the amendment. The amendment will no longer be highlighted yellow.again....
