How to delete a project
- Select the project you wish to deleteIn the tile view: click on the ‘delete’ button on
If you have the Tile view of the Dashboard, click on the delete icon on the bottom of the tile
In the list view: click on the ‘delete button tofor the project you want to delete.
If you have the List view of the Dashboard, click on the delete icon at the right of the
project rowrow for the project you want to delete.
The system will present a message to check before deleting.

Hints and tips
- You can only delete a project if there are no significant versions created (i.e. a document within it hasn’t been:
- shared externally (bills and SI/SSIs),
- a document within it hasn’t been published (bills only), or
- A document within it hasn’t been submitted to the National Archive’s Publishing system (bills and SI/SSIs)
- You cannot delete a project if another user currently has a lock on a document within it.
project will no longer be visible on the dashboard and all documents it contained will be deleted.
