NIA - Using 'bulk update statuses' to submit and table amendments from the Editor

Bulk update statuses allows users to make update the status of more than one amendment at the same time and can be a time-saver. The Amendment Status right-hand panel is only visible to NIA users so this option cannot be used by OLC users.

How to use ‘bulk update statuses’ to submit & table amendments

Traditional List of Draft Amendments (LoDA) opened in the Editor

  1. From the Amendment Manager, find your List of Draft Amendments (LoDA), and

  2. Click on the pencil icon to open the LoDA in the Editor.

  3. In the Editor, view the Amendment Statuses right-hand panel

  4. Click on the Bulk update statuses button

  5. Select which amendments you want to update (leave ‘All Amendments’ if you want to update all amendments in the list); select the ‘Draft to Submitted’ status transition

  6. Save your changes

  7. Click on the Bulk update statuses button again and this time select “Submitted to Tabled”

  8. Save your changes and close the LoDA using the Close Editor button
