From the Amendment Workspace tab—
Find your list of draft amendments, and
Click on the pencil icon to open your list in the Editor.
In the Editor—
Click on the ‘Document Information’ icon (3rd button down) to expand the Document Information right-hand panel
Click on the Submit List button
A 'Confirm amendment submission' dialog box appears summarising whether the amendments can be submitted.
If all amendments are ready for submission and you are happy to send them to the Bill Office, click on the Submit button
All the amendments in the list will be updated to status “Submitted”.
Once submitted, the amendments in the list will become read-only: submitted amendments can no longer be edited by OLC users.
Bill Office staff will acquire edit rights to your submitted amendments: you will still be able to view them and any changes that the Bill Office make to them.
If you submitted using the Submit List button in the Editor, a duplicate version of your amendment list will be created called “Submitted - [Date and Time]” and visible in the Amendment Workspace. The same version will be shared with the Bill Office.
If one or more amendments are not ready for submission (e.g. another user has a lock and is editing one of the amendments in your list) then you will be unable to submit the whole list: all amendments must be in state ready for submission before the list can be submitted.
OLC users are unable to undo a submission.
Contact the Bill Office so they are aware of the error where they will delete any shared lists and reject the amendments submitted in error.
If you wanted to continue editing these submitted amendments, you will need to copy them to a different stage selecting the current stage and bill version. This will create duplicates of all the selected amendments, removing the ‘submitted’ status allowing you to edit and resubmit later.
