Introduction

You may need to reset another user’s account if they have:

  • not activated their new account in time (within the 48 hours of creation)

  • they have forgotten their password

  • they have replaced their mobile phone and not transferred the authentication details to the new phone

  • their password has been compromised and they are unable to reset it themselves.

To reset the account:

Use the filter box, top-left, to find the account by typing in the first few letters of the account name or e-mail address

Click on the Actions Menu

Click on the Reset account button

Tips

The user will not be able to access Lawmaker until they activate their account

The user will receive an email telling them how to activate their reset account.

They must do this within 48 hours of receiving the email or you will need to reset their account again.
