How do I insert quoted structure at a higher level than my starting point?
How do I insert quoted structure at a higher level than my starting point?
Have you inserted quoted structure (for example, a paragraph) and need to insert a subsection straight after (as part of the same amendment) but it’s not an available option?
This is because the options shown in a quoted structure can only be at the same level or lower than the provision you started with. For example, if you started with a paragraph you can only insert paragraphs, subparagraphs and subsubparagraphs. For anything higher (eg closing words, subsections etc) you will need to insert Adjacent Quoted Structure.

Note, you may need to update the properties of your first quoted structure to remove any opening quotation marks or angled brackets.
