Issue description
It is difficult to go back and insert text following a footnote. Typing immediately after insert a footnote (Alt F) works fine. However, if you try and click in the right place, sometimes Lawmaker doesn’t allow you to enter text and displays an error message.
Workarounds
There are 3 potential ways you can workaround this issue:
Click somewhere near but not on the footnote. Using the arrow keys on your keyboard, move your cursor backward or forwards until Footnote is highlighted in the breadcrumb trail. This will be either at the bottom (default) or top (user setting) of the Editor pane depending on your settings.
Then press the right-arrow key once, and you will see the word Text highlighted on the breadcrumb, and you can then type in what you need.
2. Click on the footnote to expand it.
Click on the “Footnote” in the breadcrumb
Cut the footnote by pressing CTRL+X.
Type in the additional text your need
Place your cursor where you want the footnote and paste it by pressing CTRL+V.
3. Click on the Documents pull down menu at the top the screen
Click on Preferences
From the Tags display mode, select Full Tags and click on the Apply button.
Find the footnote and place your cursor between the Footnote tag and Text tag. Highlighted on the screenshot below:
Type in your text.
To turn off Full Tags, follow the steps above and select No Tags (or your preferred setting).
