For the first Consolidated List

Second House

  1. After recording outcomes on all amendments in final stage: generate the Consolidated List of Amendments (if there were any 'Agreed' amendments)
  2. Update the amendments as necessary (e.g. adjusting the page/line references back to the House version - merging amendments etc)
  3. Renumber amendments 1 - n as necessary
  4. Once all amendments are updated, share with the first House

First House

  1. Duplicate the shared Consolidated List
  2. Add the Document Information (bill number, published date, document title etc.)
  3. PDF & Publish
  4. As soon as you have published the list, the amendments on it will be owned by your House i.e. they will become editable to all users in the same organisation as yours, ready for you to update if needed when the Consolidated List is sent back to the other House.

For subsequent Consolidated Lists

  1. Duplicate the last published Consolidated List
  2. Update it using any of the following actions:
    1. Insert/remove Lords/Commons headings (e.g. "COMMONS AMENDMENTS 1, 3 and 4" or "LORDS AMENDMENT 2")
    2. Insert/remove interstitial headings (e.g. "Clause 2" or "After Schedule 2")
    3. Move the amendments under new headings (using drag & drop)
    4. Insert a Message after the appropriate amendment or previous Message and update it as necessary with any reason(s) and/or associated amendments (copy & paste from amendment lists or Reasons document)
    5. Copy Message(s) from one amendment to another amendment if the original amendment that the Message was associated to has been resolved
    6. Remove undisputed amendments from the list (highlight using breadcrumb or use multi-select & then delete)
    7. Number any new reasons or amendments as required
  3. Update top and tail matter and share with other House for them to  publish as a bill
