Introduction

It is possible to delete working versions, snapshot versions and significant versions that have been shared but it is not possible to delete published Bill/Act significant versions to help you keep your projects tidy.

How to delete a document

  1. Select Delete document from the drop-down menu on the tile of the document version you want to delete
  2. The system will present a warning message, making sure you have selected the right document version to delete
  3. Select Delete button
  4. The system will delete the document version and any snapshot versions if it was a working version.

 Hints and tips

  • Only users in the same organisation as the user who created the working version can delete the document version.
  • Only users who were in the same organisation as the user who created the document can delete a shared significant version.
  • You cannot delete the last document in the project (you will need to separately delete the project if you wanted to get rid of the last document in it)

Bills and SI/SSIs

  • You cannot delete the last document in each stage (folder)
  • If you deleted a significant shared version and there were no longer any significant versions left, it’s possible that users from the other organisation will no longer be able to see the project in their dashboard.  If they had created a working version of the significant version before it was deleted, they will still be able to see the project.

List of Draft Amendments

  • Deleting a LoDA will delete all its associated amendments unless they also appear on another list
  • No labels
