Introduction

It's possible to flag an amendment on the 'Amendments' tab which will highlight it in the list (visible only to users in the same organisation as you), but also prevent other users in the same organisation as you from submitting it, or publishing it (if you are a Parliament user).

How to flag amendments

  1. Click on the ‘Amendment Manager’ tab
  2. Click on a flag icon on the left-hand side of an amendment to toggle the flag on/off
  3. The selected amendment will be highlighted yellow in the list when the flag is on

Hints and tips

  • Flags are only visible to other users in the same organisation as you
  • Flags will prevent other users in the same organisation as you from submitting an amendment if it is draft
  • Flags can be applied to any amendment, regardless of their status
  • If you are a Parliament user, flags will also prevent you or others in the same organisation as you from publishing a list that the amendment appears on
  • To release the 'lock' on the amendment, click on the flag icon to remove the flag from the amendment.  The amendment will no longer be highlighted yellow.
  • No labels
