Introduction

You can submit an Act or SI/SSI to TNA from within Lawmaker.

Using this option makes a copy of the document available on Lawmaker’s API which TNA’s publishing system can pick up and publish.

At the moment the submission process is not fully automated as the National Archives need to do further work to their system. In the short term you will need to continue uploading a ZIP file onto TNA's publishing system when you register your documents.

How to submit to TNA

  1. From the Project Tab, expand the working version that you wish to submit to TNA so that you can see the snapshot versions.

  2. Find the PDF snapshot that is for the final version to be submitted and select Actions > Submit to TNA.

  3. Click Submit button to send the selected document version to TNA.

The system will create a snapshot and a significant version marked as “Submitted to TNA”. Only users in the same organisation as the submitter will be able to view the significant version in Lawmaker
