Summary of feature request
- Add the ability to insert supporters to Motions by providing the “Manage proposers and supporters” modal that already exist within LoDAs
- Change the refersTo attribute in the <docProponent> to “motion”
Background
Currently, Motions are restricted and it is only possible to add proposers. This is because, originally, the instructions that were given specified that only proposers could be added to a motion so we customised the UI to reflect those specifications.
However, this does not seem to be the case anymore, as also supporters could potentially be added to a motion.

Hello,
We have an Amendment paper currently that requires a supporter name added to a Motion:
This is quite rarity in my experience, but I think it may be worth adding this feature (similar to amendments). I had to use a ‘Motion to amended an order’ element in order to enter the supporter name as text.
