Create a new document by uploading an XML file

You can upload an XML document into Lawmaker to create a new working version. The XML document must have originally been downloaded from Lawmaker.

How to upload an XML file
On the Project tab, click on the Upload document button.
Select a folder and enter a version description for your new document.
Click Choose file and select the XML file from your computer that you wish to upload.
Click on the Upload button
Lawmaker will validate the file to check that it is a Lawmaker file and that it is the correct type for the project you are uploading to. If it is, a new working version will be created on the Project tab.
You may need to extract the XML document from the compressed zip file that was downloaded using Downloading a ZIP file of a document before you can upload it.
Any images associated with the XML file will not be uploaded.
