Creating a consolidation bill project

To create a new consolidation bill project, click the ‘New’ button on the Dashboard, select one of the following document Types--

  • UK Public Bill,

  • Scottish Public Bill,

  • Church Measure

….then choose the Sub-type Consolidation Bill:

Type a title into the Title field and click ‘Create’.

A new consolidation bill project will be created, containing a single working version. The working version will open in the Editor.

You can currently create consolidation bill projects for UK Public Bills, Scottish Public Bills, and Church Measures (Consolidation Measures). We will add support for drafting consolidation bills in other jurisdictions in a future version of Lawmaker.
