LMS-737 Redesign Document Information Panel

Feature request summary

Re-design the Document Information Panel: make the current panel read only and add a button that brings up a dialog box where users can edit the information. The information will only be updated once the user clicks on save/update.

Background

Currently, when an user types in the Document Information Panel, the system waits around 5 seconds since the user stops typing and then updates the information accordingly. Also, whilst it is updating the information, it is not possible to do anything else so the user needs to wait the system to finish saving/updating the information before being able to do anything else.

This way of updating/saving information seems to be very cumbersome, getting in the way, and users do not appear to be satisfied with the overall experience.

In addition, there seems to be some bugs related to this mechanism of saving information on the Document Information Panel (e.g. https://lawmaker.atlassian.net/browse/LMS-641).

Rather than fixing the issues, we thought that it would be best to redesign the Document Information panel so to give a better experience and avoid some of the bugs currently present.
