LMS-947 Bulk Update for Comments

Feature summary request

Add feature that allows users to add a comment to multiple amendments in one go within the Amendment Manager.

Users could use the checkboxes to select the amendments, and then use an action such as ‘Add/Append comment’ under the ‘Amendment Action' dropdown menu in the Amendment Manager . This would bring up a modal with a text box to enter the comment, and a message saying something like “The following comment will be added to the existing comment of the selected amendments”

Therefore, the feature would add/append a comment to an existing one (similar behaviour to the ‘Quick comment’ button of the Amendment Preview).

Hi all,

It’s been suggested to me that a feature allowing a bulk update of comments in the Amendment Manager could be a useful feature; whereby appropriate amendments are selected and a comment is added to each.

I have no idea of the practicalities or feasibility of such a feature though.
