LMS-2840 Quoted structure beginning with a Schedule sub-sub paragraph
Summary of feature request
When inserting a Quoted Structure, it should be possible to select a Schedule sub-sub-paragraph. It should also be possible to insert a Schedule sub-sub-sub-paragraph, i.e. a paragraph
Background
In the ‘Insert Quoted Structure’ modal, there is currently a specific option for Schedule sub-paragraph, but no option for Schedule sub-sub-paragraph, so users are forced to pick what is essentially a Clause sub-sub-paragraph. This results in inconsistent alignment of sub-levels in nearby quoted structures in the PDF output, since the indentation is slightly different for sub-sub-paras and sub-sub-sub-paras depending on whether they are descendants of Schedules rather than Clauses.
The proposed entries for Schedule sub-sub-paragraph and sub-sub-sub-paragraph should be placed below the entry for Schedule sub-paragraph in the Quoted Structure modal.
(Alternatively, since these XML elements are essentially identical to the equivalent levels in Clauses and only distinguishable by their indentation in the PDF output, we could instead just give users more fine-grained control over indentation options in the Insert/Update Quoted Structure modal.)
Original description
We would like the option to begin a Quoted Structure with a Schedule sub-sub paragraph, e.g. (a).
At present when inserting a Quoted Structure beginning with Schedule sub-sub paragraph (a) it is necessary to select the option “Paragraph (a)” from the dropdown menu. This inserts the same element as is inserted for a Clause paragraph and produces the “correct” element for Lawmaker’s purposes.
However, this is inconvenient for two reasons: (1) it does not produce the correct level of indent in a PDF generated of the document, and (2) it is not obvious to the user that this is the correct element to begin the Quoted Structure with as it appears to be a Clause-related element in the dropdown menu.
Desired functionality: a separate option for Schedule sub-sub-paragraphs (and ideally sub-sub-sub-paragraphs as well) in the dropdown menu in the place shown in the attached image. Both elements should have the correct levels of indent to match where that element would sit in a full structure.
This is a lowest-priority request.
